We want your brollies: broken, battered and bruised!

We've all been there. It's raining and you can’t find a single umbrella which isn’t broken in some way. You pop to the nearest shop and buy another cheap-o, because, let’s face it: what kind of person splashes out on an umbrella? It lasts a few months before it too ceases to function, and lives out its days as a useless assortment of non-recyclable materials.

Well, fret no further! We are working at Barn on the Farm Festival in Gloucestershire and want to upcycle your umbrellas for an art installation. It will look umbrellieably cool.

We currently have collection points in Leeds, Gloucester and Cheltenham, with more to be added soon.

If you’d like to help us by setting up a collection point at your store, school, community centre or somewhere else, please get in contact with us on hattie@plasticfreeme.org

April showers have ended and summer is coming: bid your brollies goodbye and upcycle them for art!
