We are passionate about inspiring individuals to lead a more plastic-free lifestyle. Responsible consumption is so important as we shape our world for the future. Your role as an individual may be small - but it is never insignificant. Join with us, and pledge to become a more plastic-free you.

I pledge to:

Step 1

Cut out single-use plastics.

Spend a week living as you normally would, yet make a note of all the single-use plastics you acquire. The plastic-wrapped food in the supermarket, the bottled water, the takeout coffee on your way to work: it all adds up! Make an active decision to cut these items out. Here are five easy switches you can make:

  1. Buy a reusable water bottle.
  2. Buy your own coffee mug for that morning cuppa.
  3. Make sure you have your own shopping bags handy.
  4. Buy unwrapped fruit, vegetables and bread wherever possible.
  5. #STOPSUCKING and skip the straw in your next drink.

Step 2

Think outside of the box.

There are loads of ways that you can further reduce your plastic consumption, from homemade beauty and hygiene products to eco-cleaning brands and utensils. Do you know where your nearest zero-waste store is? Could you go an entire month without disposable plastics? If you're unsure where to start, please follow us on social media where we share the best top tips and guides that we can find.

Step 3

Spread the word.

Remember that we all share the same planet, and we all have a duty to protect it. Don't keep your plastic-free lifestyle a secret! Share what you're doing with families, friends, at your local clubs and in your communities. We really do have power in numbers: so spread the word! Challenge your local bars, cafes, restaurants and outlets to be more eco-conscious. At Plastic-Free Me, we want to work alongside these organisations and show them the benefits that sustainable consumerism can have on their business, their customers and their environment - so put them in touch!
